What do you think is a vegetarian?

A VEGETARIAN DOESN’T EAT MEAT OR FISH

Vegetarian or not, a healthy person has to eat a big quantity of plant origin food, have a regular physical activity and avoid alcohol and cigarettes.

For vegetarians it is important to cover the needs in essential nutrients and to ensure sufficient quantities in vitamin D3 and B12, selenium, zinc, iron, omega 3 lipids and proteins by eating vegetal products, milk products and eggs.

Today I propose to you a vegetarian breakfast. Therefore, I could propose some muesli, porridge, pancakes, pudding and so on… but you will say:

« I have no time for that in the morning! »

So, we will reserve this breakfast for the weekend when we can take the time.

A nice breakfast to start the day and go out of the night of fast.

I propose to you a nice apple and pear compote with some fresh grapes. It is important to consume seasonal products.
Apple and pear are rich in vitamins and mineral salts, nutritive fibres and antioxidants.

Therewith an omelette for the proteins and a slice of toasted grain bread for a better digestion.

Do not forget a handle of oleaginous: a mix of walnuts, almonds, cashews and macadamia nuts for a maximum contribution of good fats.

I want to remind that the following parts for an optimal plate are important:
1/5 proteins; 2/5 carbohydrate; 2/5 fruits and vegetables.

The nice dish you can take with a coffee or tea and you would be ready to start your day full of energy.

A breakfast for a vegetarian athlete is not problematic if it is well considered. You just have to respect the quantities of animal proteins in the form of milk products and/or eggs and the vegetal proteins in the form of cereals and leguminous plants.
