At the crossroads of Avenue du Midi and Avenue de Beauregard are the Avenue du Midi buildings. Located behind the station of Fribourg, they are at equal distance from the Universities of Pérolles and the University of Miséricorde. The Faculty of Law is a one-minute walk from its offices.

All the conveniences of the city centre are within walking distance (restaurants, shops, post office, bank, cinemas, etc.).

The three buildings in Varis are located on one of the city’s steepest roads, between the Cantonal and University Library and the Museum of Art and History. The Pedagogical University, the University of Miséricorde and the Professional School are only a few minutes away. The Rue St-Michel and its eponymous college leads directly to the city centre and its pedestrian streets where all types of shops are represented. The friendly district of Alt, which overlooks our buildings, offers a variety of small shops and entertainment.

The charming district of Le Bourg and its cathedral lined with original shops and typical bistros is nearby.

Rents

  • Varies depending on the apartment size and type
  • Rooms: CHF 390 to CHF 475 a month (roughly € 460 to € 420)
  • Including costs: heating, hot water and Internet Wifi
  • A statement of the incidental costs (heating, hot water) paid with the rent is made once a year (October)

  • In Fribourg, in the center of the town, next to the district “Quartier d’Alt”
  • 2 minutes from the pedestrian precinct (post office, shops, banks…)

  • 15 minutes by bike or bus to the Pérolles University and high schools

Cellars

Laundry room

  • After each use, the tenant cleans the machines, filters and floor

Waste management

Keys

The tenant receives 1 key to access:

  • The main entrance (closes automatically for security reasons)
  • The apartment
  • The room

For security reasons:

  • You should always have the key on you
  • Always lock the doors

Letter box and cellar keys:

  • 1 letter box key and 1 cellar key per apartment
  • These keys should be kept on a hook near the door into the apartment
  • Always put them back in place after use!

Loss of a key

  • Apartis orders a replacement key on to the cost of the tenant
  • In the case of theft, it may be useful to change the apartment locks

Caretaker

  • Caretaker’s apartment: apartment 2003, ground floor, Varis 7
  • He is at your disposal for any question concerning the use of the premises, functioning of laundry rooms, damage or repairs and for waste management
