The Apartis Student Housing Foundation has been awarded by the Carbon Fri label for all its activities. Apartis carries out its CO2 assessment with Climate Services for several years now and has decided to do more for the environment.
The Carbon Fri Foundation, created at the beginning of 2018, aims to promote a reduction in CO2 emissions of Fribourg companies. To do this, it awards the «CARBON FRI» label to those companies who undertake to reduce their CO2 emissions. Per tonne of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere, the company invests a contribution into the Foundation. The entire funds collected are returned to the economy of Fribourg by supporting local projects reducing CO2 emissions and which are not eligible for subsidy programs.
